Youth Connections
This is a government-sponsored program designed to help young people enter the workforce and find meaningful employment.

Our career counsellors are available to help sort through information, identify skills and use their knowledge of the labour market to find a job that suits your skills. They can also arrange job experience through job shadowing, work experience and training on the job programs.

Pre-employment Training
A wide variety of workshops and courses are available. Our friendly, knowledgable staff can help you to build a training plan to suit your needs. Here is a sample of workshops and courses that can be accessed:

Job Placement
Our staff will work with you to find a job. Our job placement services are designed to assist you to locate a potential employer and to support you through the application and interview process.

Looking for Work?

If you are looking for work, the Rimbey Regional Employment Centre can help you. Our Resource Centre is open to the public. We provide career counselling and a career counseloor is available to help you find information about the job market and to explain our programs and services.

Our staff is also available to assist you after you are hired. They can help solve work place concerns, make a referral to other service providers and help you to find another position if necessary.

  • Learn what jobs best suit your skills, interests and lifestyle
  • Learn what employers want, how they recruit and how to look for work using the "hidden job market"
  • Keep a job or change your career
  • Write a "winning resume" and take a "mock interview"
  • Type your resume on our "computer"
